I'm filling out the I-130 for my mom and I have a few questions. I'm a US citizen (born here) and she's in Pakistan. As far as I can tell, I'm only required to send in the I-130, $535 payment, and my birth certificate showing both of our names. Is that correct? Can I also send the I-864 right now or is it recommended to wait until they ask for it when the time comes?

Also, my mom had a SSN from when she was here 25+ years so I know it's probably a good idea to include the SSN on the I-130. However, some of the info like the DOB she has on her old New York state ID from back then does not match the DOB she has on her current passport (the birth year is the same, but not the date or month). How big of an issue is that? I can probably have her fix it on her current passport so it matches with the info here since they might still have access to the records from back then. When the time comes for an interview at an embassy/consulate, is she required to bring anything other than her current passport?

Thank you in advance for any advice/suggestions!
