Who To Contact at USCIS to revoke sponsorship?

Does anyone know which address at the USCIS offices I would write to in order to revoke sponsorship?  My husband has returned to his home country after 10 years of marriage (and being here for 10 years) and we are divorcing. He left the states in April. He never adjusted his status here after coming over on a K1. Thanks in advance.

What sponsorship are you referring to? K-1 sponsorship? You don't need to write to them anymore.

If he already left....why even bother? He left, he can no longer adjust because he left the country.

12/28/2018                Interview has been scheduled. Waiting for notification with date by snail mail

Sounds to me like it's done. If he left the country, and he never adjusted from his K1 visa, then he's left the country and has no lawful status. There is nothing to revoke here.

Here is a similar question on an attorney web site:  It seems you don't have to do anything......other than file for divorce if desired.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

From my understanding of the process, you are off the hook on the Affidaivit of support and the AOS is no longer a concern. The 10 year hook from I-864 does not apply to you anymore. The divorce is still the last link for you.

As above, if he came on a K-1 and never adjusted, you merely submitted the I-134 originally which has no real legal ramifications on you at all. He's gone and since he was out of status for that long he now has a ban also so.

08/15/2014 : Met Online

06/30/2016 : I-129F Packet Sent

11/08/2016 : Interview - APPROVED!

11/23/2016 : POE - Dallas, Texas

From sending of I-129F petiton to POE - 146 days.

 

02/03/2017 - Married 

02/24/2017 - AOS packet sent

06/01/2017 - EAD/AP Combo Card Received in mail

12/06/2017 - I-485 Approved

12/14/2017 - Green Card Received in mail - No Interview
