I want to sponsor my sister in laws to visit USA for my child's baptism. One is working as an engineer, good salary but no property or land in her name. Other is studying in college and same as the other sister. Any chances for them?

You cannot sponsor anyone for tourist visa. There is no such thing. 

 

They have to apply on their own and file their own applications. You don't provide anything. No one can say what their chances are. Consul will decide that based on their ties to their country.

There is no sponsorship for tourist visas. You can help them fill out the forms. You can pay for their trip. But that is not sponsorship.

 

They have to apply on their own merits. It is hard to say what their approval chances are. Having a good job as an engineer is a positive. All they can do is apply and see. Nothing for you to do.

Exactly. No sponsorship. Sponsorship for a tourist visa is an urban myth that never dies.

 

The good job is a plus. If they've traveled abroad to various countries, that helps as well.

Having a good job is a definite plus, although not a guarantee. The best way to know if they can get the visa is to, well, just have them apply and go through the process. As others have said, it's 100% their responsibility, you can't help with the process.

8/23/17  --- Received hard copy of NOA

10/17/17 - Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview

12/01/2017 - Card in Production
12/05/2017 - Received Approval Notice in the Mail

Another Indian national with the tourist visa sponsorship myth. 

 

OP- please take a moment to search/read previous threads. There is no concept of b2 visas being sponsored (unlike an H1b sponsored by a US employer, or a Family visa sponsored by a US relative). A b2 visa is the sole domain of the foreign applicant.

10/30/2017.......... Notice received in mail

10/30/2017.......... Check cashed

11/02/2017.......... Conditional GC expired
