born 1996 and my husband born 1989? is the age diffirent is good?? just wondering cuz somebody said age diffirent might be red flags for interview

No that's fine. Generally age differences are seen as a red flag when the female is 10+ years older than the male and from high fraud countries.

Philippines isn't one of those countries. Nor is that age gap an issue at all.

It will have nothing to do with age difference if that happened. We ourselves are only 4 years apart; but the Philippines its very common for the male to be older and even sometimes like, 15-20 years older. No issues in those cases that I've seen because of the ages.

I've even seen a case here of another gay couple, the Filipino was 21 I think and the petitioner was 55 or so. Approved for a K-1 no issues. So just relax about the age gap thing, it's nothing.

can i ask another question we only meet once when we got married is not big deal from them?

That I can't say for sure... in some countries that obviously can look odd and draw some questions; but again it's the Philippines, which is known to be pretty easy going so again I wouldn't be stressing, just go in prepared to the your interview when the time comes with all the needed documentation/proof of relationship/ect.

my wife and I have a 27 year difference, it was slightly problematic but not overly so you should be fine, I also only met her once prior to visa issuance

Well you've been married for 3 years. Do you live together, have a shared life, talk everyday, traveled together, met each other's families and friends etc? That will be the evidence you need, if you have all that, then it won't matter if you met just once when you got married 3 years ago.

Hopefully not since I'm 13 years older than my husband 😕

The term "age difference" is a kind of mistranslation lazy way of typing as little as possible.  Most couples have some sort of age difference.  Whether it will make a difference in their visa process depends on the specific circumstances including which person is older, how much older, and whether this age difference is culturally normal in the foreigner's country.

When you combine more than a ten year age difference where the woman is older and the man is coming from a country where that is not culturally normal, there is more suspicion that the foreigner is in the relationship primarily or exclusively to derive an immigration benefit.

Google these words.  Are Older Women Marrying Younger Men Discriminated Against?

It makes me angry that this would be seen as more acceptable for the man to be older...ridiculous. I don't think we look different in age and in our hearts we feel the same.

It's not Consular Officers seeing things as unacceptable to THEM.  They are tasked with making a judgment as to the motives of visa applicants.  If a relationship is "unacceptable" in the local culture, it's far more likely to be "for an immigration benefit" than to be bona fide.  Sometimes they get it wrong but usually they get it right.  Be prepared.
