Hi,

We've been looking through other timelines similar to ours, and it seems that a lot of people are being expedited. I understand you can apply to be expedited if there's a valid reason, but it seems like there's so many. Is this something we can look into doing? We have just submitted IV and AOS to NVC, so awaiting the interview date.

Or... Are non-expedited cases getting processed in around 2 months, as per the timelines I've seen. In which case we won't bother.

Thanks,

It is all relative. It may seem like a lot but if you look at the overall amount of cases currently being process in immigration, expedites still only makes up a small percentage. Not only that, people tend to post updates on good news (approvals) rather than bad news. They post bad news when they need help. That being said, if you have a valid reason, then you are free to apply. But if it is just an attempt to try to get things done faster, then I encourage you to leave to those who really need an expedite. We have seen our share of frivolous expedite reasons.
