First off thank you for reading my profile.

I am married serious about divorce and considering marriage with a lawyer in pakistan. I know you think he is using me but i have talked to his family.

He needs a tourist Visa but will my spouse find out. I dont want to jeopardize my marriage if he is the wrong choice which i know he is not. My husband is not good to me.

The question is will my spouse know? He will only stay 2 weeks.

Thank you for your time

Please clarify your question. He wants a tourist visa to visit you? If so, he applies on his own. He does not need you to apply for a tourist visa. He simply applies and finds out if he gets it. He would have to show strong ties to his country.

Who knows if your spouse will find out. That is something that is not immigration related.

As mentioned, the tourist visa is fully unrelated to you. You don't sponsor someone for that.

For all else, I need to keep my mouth shut so I don't get in trouble. :)

hahaha I had to bite my tongue too.

As others have said, he will have to get a tourist visa on his own merit. Pakistan is not an easy country to get a tourist visa or a marriage visa from - there are people on here who have made 7+ trips and spent years trying and are still unsuccessful.  @Love To Teach

Furthermore, if he is able to get a tourist visa and comes to visit you, and it goes well - at some point in time, if you decide to divorce your husband and pursue this relationship, they will see that this relationship started while you were still married - not even legally separated, and it could cause more problems for you.

If you do not want to be married, then divorce your husband first and pursue other opportunities after.

OP is cheating on their husband with a lawyer from Pakistan and wants him to come see her/him on a tourist visa. OP will divorce said husband if the meeting goes well otherwise OP will stay hush so that OP's  husband does not divorce her/him if he finds out OP is cheating. That's what I got from that.

Thank you for responses. I very much appreciate that. He says the government says a letter from a usa resident will cost much much less than getting his own tourist visa.

Im guessing this will not work out. Sad.

I only wonder as they go through my paperwork will my husband be aware.

Are you referring to an invitation letter? That is not needed if he wants to apply. If he thinks he needs one, he is highly misinformed.

Again, you should have nothing to do with his tourist visa. So what paperwork of yours are you referring to? You don't send anything. You don't sponsor. You don't attend the interview. So there should be no paperwork of yours involved.

Huh? That almost sounds like somebody thinks the letter takes the place of a tourist visa. The letter does nothing. He still has to get his own tourist visa, period, whether there's a letter or not.

If he's truly coming as a tourist, he needs to be prepared to explain the nature of his trip and provide ties to his home country such a a job, property, etc. that will convince a CO that he's really just a tourist. Unfortunately going to meet a woman to "see if things work out" may add more scrutiny to his case.

This won't work out because the odds of him getting a tourist visa (which he needs, there is no replacement for it - no letter from you can help) are so so low.

He said he needs a letter from you because it will "cost less"? Sounds like a scam to me.

Did your husband petition you?
