I received an appt date for 6/28/07 at 12:30pm, I also got an appt at 1:00pm for my 11 year old daughter and am sure I'll receive one for my 8 year old at 12:00pm (as her number was before mine and it seems that we're working that way), I stupidly called the uscis people who of course couldn't even tell me what address was associated with my youngests application (that was our previous problem, which I'm pretty sure hasn't been fixed) and had no idea what an interview was which I thought I'd ask just to see what they'd say.

What kind of interview will they be giving to little kids? What questions etc, as we have a little problem if they're going to be asking about their biological dad. Neither remember him and we don;t talk about him at all, they both assume my current husband is their dad (he's been with them for 7 years and is a great person, whereas their biological dad left and wanted nothing to do with them, doesn't pay child support doesn't call and has no parental rights)

Thanks for your help :)

From my understanding, they don't really ask the chidren much, they may just interview them at the same time as you. They might ask their names, birthday, what school the go to, if they like it in the US etc. Probably very simple questions if any at all.

They asked my 16 year old son if it was his signature on the AOS forms. That was basically it for the questions for him. I just had to show his birth cert and give his passport. I really cant see them asking young children a bunch of questions :D

I think I signed for my kids as they're both young. Its going to be difficult for the USCIS people as my appt is at a different time than theirs, so if we're not all together what am I supposed to do with an 11,8 & 5 year old? Maybe they'll go easy on me to get rid of us

You should all go in together.

My interview letter said a half hour before my sons, and they called us in at the same time.

I am sure they will for you to
