Over a year and still not Oath date (split)

Hi All 

I have little different story from my side . I filled my N 400 from Philadelphia location in 15 March 2016. And I wait longer time for interview call and finally I got interview date 12th April 2017. Officer said I pass interview and we will send you decision in mail for next step. But till today Junly 23rd 2018 I am still waiting for my Oath decision date. Every time call it's said my fill in process we let you know once we get any decisions.

I don't what they are doing from since 1 year from my interview date. And still they need more time. My case total time 27 month and I m still waiting.......

If any one have some idea what I should I do???.......

Yeah that doesn’t seem right. Call USCIS and ask, put in an official inquiry. I’d also call your congressman and get his help to look into your case. That seems too long.

Make an official inquiry via an e-request online and contact your senators. If you still haven't heard back within a month, contact the USCIS Ombudsman. https://www.dhs.gov/case-assistance

i'm in the situation as you my interview was on april 14 2017 and im still for the dicision. i have been on multiple infopass. e-requested. and the only thing they can told me is that they are waiting  for a third party background check. but the funny thing is that on the day of my interview the officer told me  that he will be making the decision the 3pm the same day.

 I could straight up skip everything and call Ombudsman - they have 120 days to make a decision this is to long.
