Scheduled Interview with NVC in "At NVC" state

We scheduled out interview and I'm worried maybe we did it a little too early.  We are scheduled for August 7th to have the interview.  The petition was received on July 19th and NVC number issued July 20th.  Has anyone recently done this or have experience with timing?  That would be 3 weeks from when it was issued to get to the embassy.  We are going to do Medical and CFO this week.  Thank you   Greg

Many have done this. Check CEAC or here https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do If your cases hasn't arrived (which I doubt will happen) you just change the date out another couple of weeks.

Get Hank's handy dandy what do I do next answer sheet here for all things in what to do or how things work for the interview at USEM. Hurry up and get a copy as it's free now and we don't know when he'll become a cheapskate and charge.

This will answer most of your questions.

The norm is about 2 weeks for delivery from NVC to the embassy after you get your MNL# .   You should be fine is my gut feeling, but as Greenbaum suggested use the CEAC tracking page  ... watch for READY. status.

Thank you for this and also everything you do for these forums.  We have been using these two resources religiously and I don't know what we would have done without them.  Like other posts in this forum we have found hiring an attorney was a waste of $2000 as the information in these forums and Hanks site are so much better and accurate then what they are telling us.  They told us not to do anything until we received the letter from the embassy (useless information).  The only thing they were really good for was to be a second set of eyes on the petition (which honestly they found some errors  which did somewhat make it worth it).  Checking NVC daily but good to know the average right now is 2 weeks so we will cross our fingers.  Thank you again everyone.  While I haven't posted much I read daily.
