Hello, i feel like i am losing my mind. I see in the k1 visa part 2 #54 is asking to describe your meeting within the past two years.

I see others reference a question asking how you met to begin with, which I also recall seeing before but now for the life of me can't find any question asking how you first met. is there such a question?

thanks

It basically asks how and when and where you met in person within the last two years.

Some people, we did, put "see attachment #**" and use that attachment to outline everything a little bit more like how you met to begin with, to include meeting then in person, ect... can just be a brief few sentences, nothing major.

ok thank you, so just to confirm i should describe how met originally and also describe meeting within the past two years in part 2 #54. We met over 2 years ago but have also met many times within the past two years. I plan to add an attachment.

thanks

You don't have to.. but again perhaps do what a lot do and use an attachment. Can be brief like:

"We met online in 2015. We spent months talking before we first met in their country of "_________". Since then we have met 2 more times. The most recent being in ________ 2018".

Can be super brief again or can make it a page long if you desire it.

Same as the letters of intent to marry. Just a brief generic statement, doesn't have to be anything major.

Doesn't ask for how you met.  I didn't put for how we met and got an early approval.  This was for Philippines. Maybe for some other country, like a high risk one, then probably more information the better.  With low risk countries, I think it's best to just give what is asked and nothing more.  I am sure my fiance' will be asked in the interview how we met, but that will be just for conversation.  YMMV but just answer the questions that are asked briefly and factually.
