I hope it moves faster for you, but generally, Minneapolis is one of the slowest - if not THE slowest - local USCIS field office in the country.  Currently showing 14 - 23.5 months for N-400, about the same as an I-485 (13 - 25.5 months; 10 - 14 months for employment-based applications).  AOS interviews are taking 1+ years to schedule, so it might be that N-400 is somewhat similar.

But - here's hoping it gets better, and that your application will be approved quickly!

Don't worry about that at all. I filed online March 22nd and had my ceremony on July 11th. While waiting for my ceremony (which was scheduled for the aforementioned date), the timeline showed like Jan 2019 on there.

Also after I passed my interview in early June, it still showed April 2019 as estimate. So basically, don't worry about those dates too much.

At the same time, some field offices truly are busier than others, so your mileage will vary.

Are you guys in MN too? That's awesome.. What does your estimated date show online? About AOS interviews, a friend of mine in Chicago is experiencing the same thing? Did you guys get your biometric done?

There is a whole thread for us Minneapolis filers.  Plan for at least a year.  Other field office stats do not apply to you.

Add your filing stats to our ongoing thread.

Both Michigan & MN don't appear in this list

The gross numbers aren't the concern with Minnesota, it is their actual processing times.

Agreed I am looking at the USCIS Processing times for various cities..and it is a lovely game they are playing...one midwestern city says 4 to 15 months processing times...LOL...this is just plain ridiculous!!

My estimate time of completion went from 22 months when I first files to 12 months at the moment, since they received my husband's biometrics. Now, I believe the waiting game starts. Fingers crossed for fast processing! I filed in New York early July.

I have reach that also so we will just wait and see.  I wish it was soon but I am here to stay and it is not stopping me going on vacation or stopping me do anything so I will just have to be patient.

i get excited for people when they get a quick interview but also a little envious, it is all good. It will happen eventually to all of us.
