Disabled and getting a K-1

Some countries are not kind about the use of a co-sponsor, so it may depend on what country your fiance is from?

Also, depending on the nature of his disability- what it means in the future for his ability to work, what medical care, etc he may or may not be seen as being likely to become a public charge.

So in short, no, it shouldn't affect things, but it could and you havent given us enough information about the situation without identifying the country and the disability - which of course you are under no obligation to - its your privacy - but usually we can help better with more information.

I live in NY and my fiance lives in the UK. Unfortunatly he has health issues that make it so he cannot work any longer. I am worried that it might be a factor for us getting denied. I had a co-sponsor, because I do not make the minimum enough for wage requirements. If you need any other information, please tell me, thank you for replying to my question!
