Hi, thanks! were you able to export your call log and chat or just the chat?

No i haven't gotten my approval yet.  In one of the other forums they recommend calling NVC after 10 days of getting your approval.  I will try to find it and link the thread here for you.

Hey. It was just the chat. We took screenshots of the call log.

I have seen that link, not very helpful I must say. I think this site is better bc we all have the same country.

Hey all. Pls if u have ur interview this june, do not forget to update us. Thanks

Quick question, do we actually need the P3? since the samples are online? I read somewhere that u need to read it, sign it and send it back to the embassy.

Also, can we do the medical before scheduling an interview or/and before the case says READY?

Hello, did anyone choose to have their i129f packet sent to Abuja embassy in nigeria?  I notice quite a few people on VJ processing/interviews are in Lagos.  I am curious to know if there's a reason or if its just preference.

I did Lagos. I think they send it to where your address is located. That is the closest embassy to ur address.

Hello house, go for medicals, fill my DS 160 and then schedule an interview when i receive my case number or do I have to wait till the consulate receives my petition. Thanks.

You can fill out DS 160 and book the appointment as soon as you get case number and your case shows "ready" meaning the embassy received your case.  after you've booked your interview, email the embassy to request your package 3.   you backage 3 will give you details on where to do your medical and police report.   You medical can be done 3 weeks before your interview.   Hope that helps

Yes you need your package 3 for updated copy, personally picking the one online as yours can be misleading.  I mean currently someone already misled you that you have to sign and return the package to the embassy. ill suggest you patiently wait for your copy of package 3, it will tells you everything yo need to do for your medical and police report.

Nope, you can fill out your DS 160 and  book your interview as soon as you have your case number and your case shows "ready". Medical can be done 3 weeks before interview and by then you should get your package 3.

I am waiting for NVC tho. They take forever. I tried calling but they said it can take up to 6 weeks. Its been 11days since approval. nothing.

How long did it take yall to get case number?

You have to practice patient, yo got your case approved within 3 months, count yourself lucky considering it took most people 7-8 months.  So am sure you can be patient for few weeks for your case number.  I can't stress it enough, be patient.

Please is there a fee for divorce decree verification? I have read the guide several times and didn't see anything like that. But someone just told me I will have to pay for that as my divorce decree will have to be verified. Please if yes how much is the fee?

You are really amazing n very helpful Thank you!

What if i book an appt and the package 3 comes in late and there's not enough time to do the medical since it takes 2 weeks? Just trying to calculate everything. I wanted to leave enough time.

I asked about this when I spoke to the NVC. They said that it's based on the type of Visa you are applying for.

That's interesting!  The instructions on USCIS website led me to believe that I can choose a location based on my personal preference. Now it sounds like that's not the case.  I hope this doesn't cause any unnecessary delays in processing once NVC is ready to ship my case.

Thanks for the information @Chelle O!!!

I 129f applications can only be processed at the Lagos branch of the US embassy. Irrespective of the embassy you select, you application will be routed to the Lagos embassy.
