You only get entry stamp on visa. Nothing else. You will need to print out the I-94 though for SSN and other applications.

I brought it from Nigeria. Did my Medicals at Consultant Practice, Ikoyi and they gave me 2 packages: One sealed one for the embassy. And another (DS 3025 vaccination sheet and X-ray disk) one for me.

They said administrative reasons after I sent an email asking them to explain.

That’s pretty vague, I hope they give you more information as time progresses. I would check in with them periodically to see if there’s been any updates and if you can come in sooner.

does anyone know how many certified copies of the marriage certificates we’ll need going forward? I was going to request 3 but wondering if I should get more. Thanks!

You'll need one for AOS, one for "permanent residence" and one for Naturalization and you want one as a back up. Most return or only ask for a copy but just be on the safe side this is what is required.

Hello,

my fiancé interview was scheduled for tomorrow and we just got an email saying it has been rescheduled to June 1st... how can they do this.. is there anything that we can do?

Can I share somethings with you that I learned long ago about this process

  • "the man with the gold makes the rules" and
  • it will take as long as it will take
  • no one with any certainty can tell you when some process will be completed
  • Your sense of urgency will never be equaled to what USCIS, NVC or your embassy demonstrates
  • Lowering your expectations will make you a much more relaxed individual

Remember we are in a different time with a world Pandemic raging. Good luck on your journey

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Country and Visa Type: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RyJiLo_7WTmqvkzXXqLuOlVHm9oyhAES/view?usp=sharing

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

Don’t they accept photocopies? In Nigeria, it’s only one Marraige certificate that is given. How will they make another copy? When your spouse is not there to sign it too.

Hi everyone, We filed our form I-129F in April, 2020, although we have our NOA1. We are waiting patiently for NOA2. I am currently based in Lagos Nigeria and my fiancé is a US citizen. It’s good to be in a platform like this with people from the same country sharing same goals and helping each other.

I look forward to learning from everyone who have successful  gone through this process and for those who are still in the process, I wish you all Goodluck.
