Last question for now: can someone else go to pay our application fee for us or does it have to be signed by the applicant? My fiancee isn't in Nigeria right now and he doesn't travel back for another 2 weeks but the earliest interview is Feb 3rd right now and we don't want the whole month to book up...

Yes someone else can pay for him but the person will be required to provide his international passport....He can send a scanned copy of his data page and the person prints it to take along to the bank & proceed with the visa application payment.

All the best dear.

This happened to us too. Not even a week later, our petition was approved. We stressed too much over it so be sure you're not stressing lol

Thanks so much for the encouragement

We've been approved today 10th Dec.

I'm super excited & thanks be to God.

We were able to set the date for our interview even though the embassy kept telling us we need to file out the DS 260 but we're still anxious that we filled out the wrong form (DS 160) even though everywhere else says it's a non-immigrant visa. Should we just fill the DS 260 as well, just in case?

Hello, I thought I read somewhere that six months worth of statements is required for the interview, but i can't find it again, so i just want to double check on this forum.  Do I need to provide my fiance with 6 months bank statement or will the letter from the bank showing 12 months total deposits suffice?  Thanks!

They didn’t ask you for any bank account documentation during the interview? Did you provide it before hand?  It’s listed as a supporting evidence document for the I134.

We didn't submit any bank statements either. We used IRS 2 years worth of transcripts as well as a letter from the bank stating how much I had and when I opened the account.

No, they didn't. But if you feel you need to go with it, you can go with all the documents you feel you need...

What's important is when they ask you a question how you answer is what they look for at the interview.

* Remember to look into the interviewers eyes, smile and answer truthfully. If you dont know the answer or understand the question just say it. Also pray on your arrival.

Best of luck.

Hello,  did anyone provide screenshots of their whatsapp phone log as part of their supporting evidence? If so, did they accept a screen shot of the log similar to what i have pictured below? It does not show the amount of time we have spent on the phone but it shows that we speak daily.
