Hello

has anyone able to schedule an appointment? I tried twice today and it’s saying there are no available dates and I know the i129f has an expiration date.. is there a trick to it?

It's been that way for a little while. On a previous post someone said 4am Nigerian time was a good time to check. It has also been said that the embassy can provide extensions if your I129F expires I'm not sure how you apply for that but I'm sure its somewhere on this forum.

Hi everyone,

I had my interview on the 1st of august and at the end of the questions the interviewer gave me three slips. one i had to write my name on, sign and return to the interviewer, the second is a slip containing information on spouse domestic violence and my rights in the US as regards that and the third was a slip containing information for passport collection.then i was told i was going to receive a mail and and SMS within 7 days. Today is the 16th of august and i am yet to get any feedback from them. i checked the tracker and my application status says 'administrative processing' and was last updated on the 2nd of august.

today is the 9th working day of my wait, should i be worried?

Maybe if you share your interview transcripts you might miraculously hear from the embassy on the 10th day.

Cheers.

HI everyone, I have two questions

1. for those that used a co-sponsor who did you use? I mean was it someone who lives in your household, or did you use a family friend, a friend or coworker? Just trying to be proactive in finding a co-sponsor.

2. for the required vaccines, which ones can my fiance complete now before his medical so it doesn't cost as much?

Thanks!

Hello

For those who have reached this point in the process, does my fiance have to get vaccinations during his medical or can he get them once he enters the US?

It is not mandatory. But if u put he had been vaccinated on you DS160 then he should.. however it’s mandatory when he comes to the US

For those who have already received their visa/passport, how soon after the interview was the visa issue?

So I am following several people who have already done their interview and received the visa. When I do the calculations it seems to be running around 7 days after the interview. But that is based on their VJ timelines.
