Depends on where you live but here are the guidelines.  Household size is you, any children from a former marriage, and her.

It is also worth mentioning you need to be within the 125% of HHS Poverty Guidelines. Not just 100% for household size. That's why it says "For all other sponsors" in the 125% category.

OP hasn't mentioned military or not.

I agree, but then I’d have to fly, and the process time will be only 6 months or so difference. I might change my mind if I can find a reliable way of becoming unconscious and having a person to help escort me to the appropriate places.

As other users have stated: the marriage for the CR-1 can take place anywhere (US, Peru, or somewhere else). Your fiancé can enter the US with a tourist visa in order to marry you and then return to her country to initiate the CR-1 process. Check out thread below:

Okay, so it appears no exemption would be made. My gf is from Peru and I’m in the US, and we need to meet in person. Unless of course there’s a different kind of visa that would allow her here, but I can’t find anything. Seems overly complicated and stupid just for her to come to the US.

Stupid? You need to read about the San Bernardino killers. They met once, claimed cultural exemption to the rules (that apply to the rest of us), and then carried out their plan to murder Americans. No, it's not stupid or overly complicated. In fact, many people think it's too easy. Get on the plane or find someone closer. Here's some in-flight reading for you: http://www.latimes.com/local/california/la-me-san-bernardino-shooting-terror-investigation-htmlstory.html

True. But he also said he cannot leave the country for more than a week or two at a time for medical reasons. So I assumed he wasn't military. But I could be wrong.

Definatly not military based on their comments, I hate to say it but op may have a problem, there are medical remedies that He/she could take. Just looks like they are trying to skirt the system.

op you have bery good advice from alot of people, listen to a little of it.

Okay. I guess the only option is the k1 visa and meeting in the bahamas, then waiting a year. More of my life wasted on waiting on bs.

I can for only small amounts of time. Like a week or two at most, but I can’t disclose more. I will try this route.

I don't know about your situation but it seems that you are either a very confused individual or just not serious.  You suggested marrying her in Peru and then the Caribbean and turn around and say you can't leave the US. You even proposed what amounts to immigration fraud and then called the system "bs." (Which is offensive to those of us who have either suffered or are suffering through the process in order to do it the legal way). Further,  you haven't even met her yet and are already talking about marriage.

The federal government won't play around with you. My suggestion is that you think things through and do plenty of research on the topic before you end up getting her or yourself in trouble for potentially trying to circumvent the system.

He did say he can leave for small amounts of time. But I agree calling it bs can be offensive. Additionally, the OP may not be able to respond to our posts right now because new members have a posting limit that I believe lasts 24 hours? I'm not sure on the length of time it is for.

Mods, please close the thread. OP doesn't care about our advices and sends out rude personal messages.

I got one too.

Plus, he is just "laughing" at all of the replies from folks genuinely trying to help with their knowledge and wealth of experience with the immigration process.   Disrespectful.
