Quick question guys: so,I have my immigrant visa interview soon (in Haiti) I was wondering, since I already have an immigration medical exam done in the US. Would I still have to pay for another one in Haiti? If so,how long does it take?

From what I have read and experienced, individual consulates have specific authorized civil doctors who are authorized to perform authentic medicals.

Quick question: I have my immigrant visa interview soon in Haiti . I was wondering, since I already have a medical exam done here in the US. Would I still have to get another one done in Haiti? If so,how long does it take to get the results and how much? Thanks everyone!

From the U.S. Embassy in Haiti website:

Quote

Immigrant visa applicants must complete their medical examinations with authorized physicians before their scheduled interview dates. Please contact one of the Embassy approved physicians listed below to schedule your appointment. Medical examinations performed by non-authorized physicians will not be accepted.

The list is at the bottom of the page.

I’m not sure, but if you already got the vaccines done in the US then maybe you can just get the regular exam done without the vaccines. You can always call the embassy to ask. I believe this is their US number for Haiti: ‭+1 (703) 544-7842‬

If you do just the exam, I believe it’s $250, but with vaccines and all that it ranges from $440-$460 I believe. Depends on which doctor you go to.

Takes a little over 1 week for results if there’s no complications, I think.
