It depends a lot on your Embassy. But, in general, NVC schedules interviews on the beginning of the month for everyone that is documented qualify. So, if you are able to have case complete until this month, in August you may receive a date if your Embassy is not overcrowded with appointments.

not true, they schedule app. on 20th day of each month

These folks are horrendous to say the least. Called them on Monday to get my status. Corrected what needed to be corrected. Today site's still down and they don't accept docs via email. It's appalling that they have no immediate course of action for an issue like this that arises. Zero preparation or contingency. I also emailed my congressman. Not sure how much of an impact that will really have though...

Maybe for Italy stuff is different, but for the majority is the beggining of every month. And like I said on my answer, in general, there are exceptions for all things.

This information is on "the interview case complete forum", and it has worked for the marjority of people. You should be a little more careful with your words!

During this 'maintenance' I received two emails from NVC. One was the standard email saying there was a change, and that I should read my messages on CEAC. The other email said...

Quote

The National Visa Center (NVC) received all of the fees, forms, and documents that are required prior to attending an immigrant visa interview at a U.S. Embassy/Consulate General overseas.

NVC will work with the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General in LONDON, GRBR to schedule an interview appointment for you. Once we have confirmed an interview date, we will send a notice to you, your petitioner and attorney (if applicable).

For people that have received their interview date, is the message on CEAC containing my interview date, or would I receive the date of interview in an email.

I guess I want to know whether I should be calling to ask what the date is, or if it's normal and that I should wait to hear from them again.

Thanks.
