Send the affidavit of support of your husband as soon as possible. Upload it on the CEAC and send the embassy a copy as well through mail.

What does your status say on NVC? Does it say administrative processing?

U can see this its seems like not an issue but they gave me 221 g saying i have to submit supporting document (i864) of my husband and i hav to upload it on the ceac website..i didnt knw they will refuse my case for that as they accpted my case at first so does it look like a bad situation the refusal dosent look good

It's a temporary refusal, dont worry.Whenever there are missing documents, they give 221G and put the case under administrative processing. Just submit what they asked for. In your case just submit your husband's affidavit of support. Even though his income is not enough, you should be fine because you already submitted a joint sponsor affidavit of support.  I know it's scary. I'm in the same exact boat as you. They didnt accept my husband's passport pictures and give him a 221G slip. We just have to pray, that they issue the visa soon IA.

Could you tell me what your 221G looked like and what they tick marked. On top did they tick mark section 221G twice or once?

Hi! Can you explain, if possible, what was the issue with the photos? I've read about administrators processing for other things, but not for photos. Was it the size of the photo, the proportions or something else ? Thanks !

Alhumdulilah I got my visa.I would like to go into details of few things apart from interview since I saw many candidates making mistakes. I had my interview scheduled for 13 september.First of all I scheduled my medical right after i got my interview date email, from Aziz Medical Centre Islamabad. Please kindly do not go to some private clinics for your medical as there were few candidates who made the same mistake and had to reschedule their interview.Medical examination goes smoothly and includes chest X-ray,temperature,blood pressure and weight and height measurements. Then you need to give your urine sample. After that a female doctor will have your detailed examination and you would be given vaccination if you do not have records for your vaccinations. You can fetch your reports after three days and you need to take that report with you on interview day. Moreover you will be given an X-ray cd and vaccination record, you need to carry them with you while traveling and handover to US immigration once you enter US.My interview was scheduled on 13 at 7:00am so I reached at Visa Seeker Shuttle Service around 6:00 am.Then once I was called in,I bought ticket for executive shuttle for PKR.1000.You may also buy ticket for economy service for PKR.500.Then I deposited my mobile and keys at counter.I had to wait for car n then it took us to US embassy. After checkin, I got token number from one counter. After a while I was called at another counter for my fingerprints and asked to submit my passport and two passport size photos. After that I was called at another counter and was asked to deposit my original marriage certificate(original urdu Nikah Nama,English translation and Nadra english Marriage certificate),birth certificate and previous marriage termination documents of me and my husband. They asked me whether I want my interview in Urdu or English.I opted for English. After that I was told to wait and after sometime I was again called at some other counter for interview.Since me and my husband were both previously married, so questions were mostly about my husband's previous marriage.Following are the questions being asked:

When and how did you meet your spouse?
When did he come to meet you?
In short span of time, how you managed to develop trust and decide to marry him?
When did you get divorced?
When did your husband get divorced?
How many kids your husband previously has and do they live with him?
Do you talk to his kids and did they attend marriage?
Where was your Walima and Barat ceremony held?
How many siblings do you have?
Why did you previously apply for visit visa?
Are all your siblings married?
Show me your email and whatsapp correspondence!
Show me your wedding album?

After these question I was asked to wait.I was again called at the same counter and all my documents were returned and then CO informed me that my visa is approved and I will get it back within two to three weeks.Thats it about interview. But I would like to add few more details as to how to get back your passport as its also bit cumbersome process.I received a call from visa services and was asked to call at 051-111234111 or my online registration.I called and the guy told me that I will receive an email in a while with my login details but I didn't.So I called after one day and they sent me email and said that once my passport is received by American Express Travel Services, I will receive an email, text or phone call.I received the text the same day and went to AEG to get my passport.

I explained each and every thing in detail since I met many candidates who forgot to bring important documents and had to reschedule their interviews.Best of luck to all candidates applying.
