CEAC Website Down for maintenance?

here is our fun story,my wife received phone call few days ago from embassy ,that they need different type of document,she has to upload a new one to nvc which is still down.. they said if we won't upload it until her interview,they will reschedule it!! And here the best part of this story,interview is tommorow. ..

I just called in, roughly a 30 minute hold time. I noticed as I was holding and the music was playing it was getting choppy to the point of it basically being inaudible. If I had to guess, I think they're having some kind of network issues over there.

 

The call representative said there wasn't any time-frame for the site to be back up again unfortunately. 

 

As I had submitted the payments and all the documents already and just wanted to check the notices I had received Friday they were able to tell me what the notices were regarding via phone. They wanted translations for the Civil docs despite them being in the native language of the embassy they will be forwarded to which shouldn't be the case, so they are escalating it to supervisor for review.

 

The fun doesn't stop..

Hi all,

I think this site is down because if you fill up your Ds-260 form the embassy’s system will not recognize your information at their side because  thier system has a glitch i have filled my ds 260 form on 10 april 2018 and received confirmation page from ceac NVC but embassy saying that your ds260 is not updated in our system

Our interview is next monday and I've been trying since friday to access our ds-260 to print the confirmation page because i can't find it anywhere in our email. Does anyone know how long these outages usually last? Is there any other way to get the confirmation page required for the interview? Can anyone who received the ds-260 confirmation email give me some key words from the message i can use to search my inbox?

any news regarding website ceac?

this drives me crazy! i am waiting for filling out ds 260 and submitting  docs. i keep checking the ceac website like every 10 mins. i wish they at least could give some time frame about  restored time then at least i can stop checking before that. called nvc they said they knew this issue and working on it diligently. but still dont have a time frame. 😨 i wish i could take it easy. but i cant relax .

Just got an email from NVC with the case number and instructions but the The Consular Electronic Application Center  is down! It says: mmigrant/Diversity Visa portal is currently undergoing maintenance. If their system is down how can they ask us to log in and do the next steps?!

 

I am glad Visa Journey is there so I can see that I am not alone in this otherwise I would go crazy!
