Hi All, my wife and I are at the last stage and our document is stuck because we scanned our marriage certificate horizontal or something silly like that but with CEAC down we are waiting in frustration.  I wrote to my congressman yesterday please everybody do the same thing. All we can do is try to create some traction because the lack of communication and utter disregard for our circumstance is very disheartening. I hope it is soon resolved hopefully this is just a short term pain and we will all spend many happy decades with our spouses. Thank you for listening.

Cheers.

Yes, submit your AOS / IV docs in two seperate envelope but when mailing you will put both in one envelope so NVC receives them at the same time, Do not send seperately it will delay your case as per the NVC rep. Make sure to label each envelope. One AOS & IV. I just sent mine and I put on my label AOS the NVC Case Number and My name. I did the same for the IV package.

Thank you. This helps. I am preparing everything I can just submit once done paying IV Fee. and submit visa application.

You are not pivot but still have to pay fees, fill out ds-261/ds-260 forms online. First you fill out ds-261 form then pay fees online and wait until “paid” then complete ds-260 form then send your Aos/IV package to NVC by mail.

ok that's good thanks

This new message on the website means they are not going to fix this anytime soon or else why would they update their message right before Friday. 😔

Yep, pretty much.

As frustrating as this extra waiting time is, I just keep thinking that I'm happy to have made it to the NVC stage. It's definitely a little disheartening to have to wait additional time, but I would rather they get it back up and running correctly than have it up and not work properly. Either way - seems like we'd be waiting. Things will work out, we've made it this far guys! Just hold on a little longer. :)
