CEAC Website Down for maintenance?

Hi All,

 

Went to https://ceac.state.gov/IV this morning after receiving an email notice that my case status had been updated. (I was actually receiving notices as the site was down) There's a message when you go to the site "The Consular Electronic Application Center – Immigrant/Diversity Visa portal is currently undergoing maintenance."

 

I'm just continuing to refresh the page throughout the day until it is back again. Was this scheduled maintenance, does anyone know when it may be up again?

I just find it crazy if Facebook or something went down, facebook would be working hella hard to get it back and there would be constant updates and about their progress and how long till its expected

I noticed it on 7/6 and the next day,the site was up

yes, they broke down the site since Thursday evening. hope be back on Monday.

Texas Service Center

NOA1: 7/17/17

RFE: 3/5/18

RFE SENT: 5/3/18

RFE RECEIVED: 5/9/18

Approved: 5/25/18

Sent to NVC : 6/13/18

NVC received: 6/21/18

Case number: 7/19/2018

Pay AOS & IV fees: 7/19/18

CEAC shut down on 7/19/18 until 7/31/18

Ds-260 submitted 8/1/18

Civil and AOS package uploaded: 8/3/18

Case complete: 8/6/18

You are right! At least they should have told us when the site is going back to normal. Hopefully Monday it will, but problably the site will work poorly as everybody will be trying to loggin on it

Yeah right

Our fees was paid on wednesday and were going yo fill form Ds_260 on thursday.

But website under maintanence from thursday still now,4 days wasted.

Hope soo tomorrow it will be fine.

But this something that actually affects peoples lifes and is government run, doesnt even have an apology or anything about when it will be back on their page.
