it would depend where in the process she is in her family based visa...she could be immediatly a GC holder if she gets approval on her family petition.

question: where are you guys on the k-1 process? Got a NOA-2 already? k-1 is taking longer now. Average of 7+ months now

i would suggest to put an effort to get the family based petition to go forward and just stall or wait for k-1 to get to embassy stage as much as you can. In any case.... the family based petition is a better choice. i was also an FB4 beneficiary. Directly got a GC for 10 years.

hi

depending on where she is from it can take 7 or more years of waiting

the i130 if it was approved already, was sent to the nvc or national visa center and is it waiting until the mother is contacted to continue the process

she will come sooner if you file for her. he mom's petition will be invalid or canceled the day you marry, since residents can't file for married children
