Hi everyone, I'm a bit stuck with a question I have and was wondering if any of you could help me out.

My fiancé and I are currently going through the K-1 process. We sent in our I-129F petition while we were both studying and living together abroad in Denmark. Anticipating that after we graduated we would move back to the Netherlands, I put in my fiancé's physical address as our address in Denmark and his mailing address as his home address in the Netherlands. Similarly, I put my physical address as our address in Denmark and my mailing address as my address in the US. We received our NOA1 back in April and have now graduated and just moved back to the Netherlands and am wondering how to update (1) my fiancé's physical address to correspond with the mailing address, (2) my (USC) physical address to the address in the Netherlands and keep my mailing address in the US?

Additionally, (3) I will be moving to the US already in August to ensure that I will have an appropriate income to provide for my fiancé. When I do this, how can I update my physical address to correspond to my original mailing address in the US?

Sorry if this is confusing. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks in advance (:

hey there,

check out www.uscis.gov/addresschange

This is the link that was provided both, on a hardcopy of NOA1 as well as on the USCIS website after login into ones account. Please let me know how it work for you, me and my fiancé are also facing address change in next few months while waiting for the petition approval. Have a safe flight back in the US!

Ah, I’ve tried that but it seems you can only use that once you are actually in the US and change to another US address which doesn’t apply to us :(

Then I would assume you have to try to talk with a human operator at the USCIS Contact Centre.

I do understand that the case is not typical so the basic form for changing does not apply, but it has to be possible to do (people do move all the time). Have you actually tried to contact USCIS?

You cant change foreign addresses. They dont care about the beneficiary's address until it's time for them to apply for a Visa and the USCIS wont change foreign addresses for petitioners.  The mailing address is in the USA and all physical correspondence will be sent there.

Hi NikLR, I gathered that much as well! Would you just suggest waiting to inform them about the move when we get the NOA2 and ask them to forward the packet to the embassy in Amsterdam instead of Copenhagen?

We requested to have the interview in Amsterdam but not sure they’ll send it there if his physical address is listed as a Danish one.
