FBI Director Christopher Wray on Wednesday described Russian malign influence efforts to sow discord among the American public as “very active.”

Wray was asked to directly respond to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s denials of Russian interference in the 2016 election during an appearance as the Aspen Security Forum. Wray described the U.S. intelligence community’s assessment of Russian meddling as sound, adding that Moscow “continues to engage in malign influence operations to this day.”

“He’s got his view,” Wray told NBC News anchor Lester Holt. “I can tell you what my view is – the intelligence community's assessment has not changed, my view has not changed, which is that Russia attempted to interfere with the last election and that it continues to engage in malign influence operations to this day.”

I seem to remember a time when a very high profile democratic senator solicited election help from the former Soviet Union.  Heck, the losing campaign in 2016 was paying for foreign help that appears to have included information from Russia and no one cares.  The Trump hatred is so over-the-top it is really laughable.

Shhhh.   It’s ok when the democrats pay for Russian assistance.  To say otherwise would be anti-American of you!

 

Meanwhile, I think the pressure is getting to be too much for POTUS to handle.  He’s intimidated by all the people on the left calling for his impeachment, so he’s stepping down...

We are not supposed to talk about anyone else except Trump because that is all in the past. Unless of course you are trying to give them credit for Trump's successes. Then it is okay.

Just be very careful whose names you mention in a negative manner.  Anthony Bourdain talked badly about the Clintons in an interview, and we all know what happened to him.
