Lost my passport (I-129F Petitioner)

I've lost my passport somehow which had stamps showing I'd entered the Philippines... still have my boarding passes, luggage tags, and photos including one at a landmark in Cebu.

 

Should I wait to submit the petition until I can visit again with a new passport & get new stamps - or go ahead with the process?

 

Unfortunately, I've already turned my house and car upside down about 5 times, called numerous places I may have left it... and I've really lost it.

you can submit it without. you have plenty of other solid evidence that i wouldnt worry about it (you definitely need to report it lost/stolen though and get a new one!) 

i 485, 130, EAD and AP

04/09/2019    NOA1 received/check cashed i 485 and 130 (direct adjustment)

11/7/2019      Interview- Norfolk

11/10/2019    APPROVED (notification rec'd 11/10, approval dated 11/8)

DONE FOR TWO YEARS!!! ;)

 

Filed everything ourselves with no RFE's or delays.

 

CR1 for Child under 21 (20 at time of filing)- Filed by LPR Spouse for his son

4/4/20     Mailed packet

4/12/20   NOA1 rec'd

10/14/21 (havent heard anything... when do i start to get worried?)

9/15/22 APPROVED! Now to wait for NVC and interview....

10/14/21 Mailed to AZ PO Box. Let the waiting begin. Again.

Sorry about losing your passport, you have enough evidence to prove you have met your fiance/fiancee in person within two years. I wish you the best

I would also try to include other items as evidence of being in the Philippines in the same location as her, such as receipts, hotel invoices, credit card statements, etc.

Worst case is you'll get an RFE to send more evidence. That would still be faster than getting a replacement passport before filing.

As these things go, it'll probably turn up within a few days after you've sent off your petition. The upside is you'll have it if issued an RFE. Don't delay further, if ready. Send in what's been previously recommended.

10/02/2015: CEAC status changed to "In Transit"
10/08/2015: CEAC status changed to "Ready"
10/09/2015: Consulate acknowledged receipt via phone; Hardcopy from US DoS with case number.
10/19/2015: Received information from Consulate.
10/28/2015: Medical Exam
11/17/2015: Interview...rescheduled due to computer problems. New date as yet unknown.
11/18/2015: Called in for interview and APPROVED!

11/24/2015: Picked up visa/passport and sealed packet from the Consulate! <happy dance>

02/14/2016: Arrived in the U.S. (POE was Bermuda)...CO was really nice!

My fiance (petitioner) also lost his passport after his second trip to Singapore  He  requested  a document proof from  CBP but turns out without any records (we  dont  know why) .  Anyway, we decided to move on and just have photocopies of other supporting evidences.   He also wrote a letter (like a cover page) to just  briefly explain and attached the letter from CBP.
