The I-134 is something the petitioner will fill out and give to the beneficiary to take to their interview at the embassy, and is not submitted with the 1-129F. If you're just getting ready to file the 1-129F, you won't need to worry about the I-134 until months from now.

I-129F Sent: 12/29/17

I-129F NOA 1: 1/4/18

I-129F NOA 2: 7/9/18

NVC Received: 7/18/18

Consulate Received: 8/9/18

Packet 3 Received: 8/13/18

Interview Date: 9/20/18

Interview Result: Administrative Processing

 

*Visitor's visa interview: December 2016, called back by embassy for second interview on same visa application in January 2019 - visitor's visa finally issued May 2019.

 

*Fiance visa placed in administrative processing September 2018. 

 

*Beneficiary's Country: Norway via Iran.

The petitioner fills out the I-134 & provides all supporting evidence. If a co sponsor is needed, they also fill out an I-134 + supporting evidence.

 

The I-134 is NOT sent with the I-129F. It is presented at the embassy interview, in roughly 8-12 months from filing.

1/2/18: EAD + AP approved (no website update), 1/5/18: EAD + AP mailed, 1/8/18: EAD + AP approval notice hardcopies received, 1/10/18: EAD + AP received

9/5/18: Interview scheduled notice, 10/17/18: Interview

10/24/18: Green card produced notice, 10/25/18: Formal approval, 10/31/18: Green card received
