Yes, you can leave for 1 1/2 months without an issue. There is always a risk coming back into the country of being denied entry unless you are a USC, but if you are not doing anything bad then don't worry about it at all.

Parole carries a small risk because it is not admission and solely at the CBP officer’s discretion, however; it’s not something you should lose sleep about provided you have no inadmissibilities such as criminal convictions. A CBP officer can’t just deny you entry because he or she decides to they need some form of inadmissibility from the arriving alien. Go have fun you’ll be fine.

Yes sir bad as in something illegal or criminal. You should be fine when coming back into the country.

My wife used advance parole when we file for her ROC. We both flew to the Philippines but flew back on different dates and she had no issues.

Like others said, only US citizens are guaranteed entry. A few years ago I used my AP to travel to my home country and after 2 months abroad, at my POE I was sent to secondary inspection. The officer inspecting me allowed me re-entry but gave me a hard time just for being in my home country for 2 months visiting my family. And then or now I don't have any criminal records, not even a speeding ticket.

Thanks God now I'm a US citizen and I won't have to worry about this kind of travel issues on my return.

Does a speeding ticket prevent you from coming back in if you paid it in full?

Honestly I don't think a speeding ticket will prevent you from coming back but again, traveling on an AP does not give you guaranteed  re-entry. What I was trying to say in my previous post was that I was sent to secondary inspection and got a hard treatment by the lady officer and I'm a person with no criminal records NOR even one speeding ticket. So I was surprised to be sent to a second inspection but I guess they tend to do that when you travel with an AP.  This happened in 2012.

Just about everyone traveling with advance parole gets sent to secondary inspection so they can verify it etc. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Some people here have had other experiences with AP and were not sent to secondary. In my case the first customs officer told me he was gonna sent me to secondary since I was traveling with Advance Parole document. That is why I'm surprised to hear others saying that they never had any trouble. Anyways that is past and now I don't have to worry about it since I'm a USC. :)
