If one merit a B1B2 visa he/she will be given . those who were rejected didn't qualify. It is not a matter of i want to come to the state. You have to convince the immigration person. People still get visa so if sny of your people were rejected . find out why and let the person reapply. In all the countries i have ever visited i have never been rejected cause i do it rightly. Don't lament when things go wrong but sit down, ask question and do it again for it is nevee over until it is finally over but it is so wrong of you to say peiple who are adjusting like you are not doing it the right way when the Uscis website says otherwise.

Full of viles

K visa is not the only way of one getting married so can't be the only correct way as you put it. You're so bitter on another man soil.

I only corrected that notion for if it is, there will be a law of one going back to her/his base even after marriage until the spouse of US citizen apply for him/her to come over since it is not so then it is not illegal. You will only talk of illegality if one didn't come in through the boarder

I don't believe OlayemiLoray was being rude at all. They were expressing their opinion in a respectful way. Not bashing the OP at all. Now as far your reply, that was a bit rude.

Floflo nobody ever said you didn't have good intentions when you entered the US. But some people do. And many see that as unfair. People get very heated on this topic. I honestly wish you the best of luck on your journey.

His comment is so entitled.

It is not his business whether those on B1B2 intent is wrong or right. It is the jurisdiction of the immigration to do so. The thread was for people in that category of adjustment to bond and encourage one another not for one to come and do lamentation 101 questioning it and saying it is not the correct way to an extend of saying lawmakers should look into it. If you didn't see it as a hateful comment on those adjusting from there. I did. What has that his comment got to do with the thread. What was he actually trying to say on this particular thread.  Read his comment again.

He is adjusting on C09 not like he is the founder of US. Imagine if he/she is, nobody will drink water if not how he drinks.

What justifies his comment

What was he trying to do. I was polite on the first person who tailored same way cause he/she was diplomatic enough even though pissed unlike him

Just to be clear. Long ago the creators of this site and the moderators decided you only need 2 sections. One for K visas and another for the rest of us. Because K visas used to get interviews skipped, their medicals work differently, their filing fees are different. The rest of us we all doing the same procedure.

You chose to draw attention to yourself and create a thread within that section. You also wanted stories/support from those on the same visa as yourself just to let you know everyone on this area of the forum has the same timeline and processes (we are not K visas). We create threads with similar timelines and when people file and with same locations.

Like it or not, the "non-K visa" procedure of AOS will always have more scrunity around it and its obvious why, someone as well read as you should be able to get that. If you are not sure why go read up on the "K visa" procedure and you will see why this path holes more scrunity. Also the heads of USCIS agree which is why they created different procedures.

I see your point with that. I believe you to have true intentions but unfortunately many don't. Its a broken system all around and that's not fair for anyone. That's why I tried to forewarn you much earlier that people can get bitter about this topic. I too am in the long wait process to be with my love but I try not to express my frustration in a negative way. I try to help as much as possible.

You are right, there should be a support group for your type of AOS. It can be scary and intimidating to some to leave everything behind and start over unplanned. Unfortunately I think most would be too shy to post for fear of being judged. If this thread gets too heated it will just be closed by a moderator.

Additionally, I will say welcome and congratulations on your wedding and finding your love.

Where is the thread for Judging without knowing any facts?? Do we just generalize  everyone on a B1-B2 visa had the intent to commit visa fraud? Ignorance = hate
