Hi everyone, congrats to those who have been approved and best of luck to those who are still in the process. I had a question

My fiancee went through his interview, which he thinks went well. the consulate officer told him "everything is good from your side, now we just have to do some procedure from our side." The consulate officer did not say that he is approved and did not give him any paperwork (no chits given either of 221g or anything). the consulate officer also kept his passport. does anyone else have any idea what this could mean? I have been checking status on CEAC and it still says ready for interview so it has not been updated. if anyone could tell me any information they might know please let me know

I'm not sure where you are in the process.  Your timeline isn't updated.   Are you waiting for Case complete?  If so that is usually what this means.  Give them a call to confirm.

That’s what i thought but i’m so nervous so i have it ready for him just in case
