Islamabad embassy please help im tensed 

they would have told you why refused. Giving passport back never a good sign . did embassy give you paper/letter ? what does it say ?

there has to be more background to this

I hope your status will change to issued tomorrow .thats what it happened to me as well .and i got my passport with visa yesterday.

they didn't gave  me any letter but my Ceac  status has been to administrative process , may be they have changed rules now they give passport and ask for it after 60 days im not sure but tis what I think , any new person facing this issue from this week ?

Never heard that you should explain your whole experience on the main page in a new thread.  Some expert may help you but you have to explain your whole story. A few days back one person here got her husband visa in AP but never taken his passport and issue visa after 59 days.

If they told you refused and gave you the passport back they are probably returning it to USCIS.  Check your status to change in a few weeks from "Administrative Processing" to "returned to NVC".  If your case was just going through Administrative processing they would have given you a 221G and kept the passport.

 

Can you give a little more info on how the interview went?

Thank you so much everyone for your wishes, help and support through this journey! All the best to  @S y khan @H&K❤️ @Muhammad Arman and everyone else who is in line for an interview! May ALLAH SWT make this process easier for you guys  

 

So my husband's interview was at 7 am and he arrived at the shuttle service by 6. After going through the security check he went inside and handed his civil documents over... And got the token for his turn. Then waited about a half hour for his number to be called. He chose to be interviewed in Urdu (and the CO was a very nice lady.) Questions asked:

Who is calling you?

How did you meet?

When did she last visit?

How old is your daughter?

Can I see pictures of your daughter and wife?

What city does your wife live in?

 

And that's all... After that she said congratulations your visa has been approved. My husband took everything with him just in case (financial+civil documents, pictures) He did say that there were quite a few refusals though... Alhamdulilah everything went smooth for him. 

 

Tip: Take EVERYTHING that was uploaded on CEAC and pictures also... Because it's better to have more than less.

 

The icing on the cake 🎂 is that our daughter is turning one on the 29th!  I pray that  everyone's visa journey ends in happiness!! Insha'Allah Insha'Allah

My husband received a paper that said to create an account online on ustraveldocs in order to have his passport shipped for pick up at a nearby location... Did you receive that also? And what about the green card fee?
