Give some tips to us as well bro our interview is coming soon. Coz its so hard for k1 applicants to get the visa now a days.

I am the petitioner (US female) fiancé is from Pakistan....the questions that were asked of him were;

 

1) how did we meet

2)why are you not marrying in Pakistan

3) how does your family feel you not marrying in Pakistan

4)show me pictures of you and fiancé with family

5)show me pictures of you and fiancé of engagement

6)tell me about the state which your fiancé lives

7)what does she do for work

8)has she filed a petition before

9)was she married before? does she have children? have you spoken to her children's father

10)what are the marriage plans in the states

****the CO was an American female my fiancé requested interview in English she requested for it to be in Urdu so she could practice and my fiancé stated her Urdu is better than his mashaAllah.  Be friendly and honest and have all of your documents in order and make sure your pictures do not look too photoshop. She said mine needed to be retaken, so I went immediately to photoshop took new ones, came back submitted and she said congratulations you are approved it will be 2-3 weeks for visa to be issued. Alhamdulilah.

Thanks alott for your wishes .inshallah i will give  my best and it will be successfull.yes i have all documents  in order .i still havent got any mail of interview  .i have just confirmed  from nvc through call .coz my case was showing intransit on ceac yesterday so i called them to confirm my interview date .once i will get the letter i will take an appointment for my medical

So as I checked several timelines same approximate 45 days from cc to interview.

I need to ask one thing please guys help me .do i have to translatr our  urdu nikah nama with english translation ? Or just marriage certificate ?from nadra is enough to take with me? Coz i have just marriage certificate  with me attested from ministry of foreign affairs

To be on the safe side get an English translation done and attested cuz they can ask for it!
