He submit the pictures same day at the embassy. Now his status says administrative processing on nvc. Can someone tell me if anything like this happened with them? Yes, but the visa officer did not tell him if his visa got approved. He asked her, and she just said we will process your Visa for a couple of weeks.

My wife uploaded wrong tax return of 2017 she mentioned  wrong income figure. But she tried to delete and want to upload again but  she couldnt get deleted that page  and she already thrown away that page we dont have it i am afraid thats y .now after that she correct that mistake and  uplaoded in additional  documents  .my all documents  documentarily qualified now .i want to know will that be an issue in my interview? Coz she couldnt mention in message that which one is wrong  and which one is write. How they will know themselves ? Or will they ask me in an interview? I dont have that wrong documents coz my wife thrown away .only correct one i have plz help me

It's important u correct this now with nvc before ur interview.  It can hold up ur approval for visa.  I would call nvc and tell them and ask how to proceed to correct this.

In my opinion, when it comes to Tax returns - what really matters is the IRS Tax return transcript. This is available for free on IRS website if the petitioner has filed the taxes (and IRS and accepted it). In short, IRS accepted document proofs your income and confirmation of tax. My advice will be to take this to interview (and upload it as well) and explain the error to the CO.

Please keep us updated when your status changes from AP to issued on CEAC. My husband had an interview on the same day and it will give me an idea of what's happening with his case. It will be greatly appreciated.

Call the NVC, tell them which is correct one, the representative will put a note on it.

We already uploaded correct affidavit  one in addtional documents..i will let them know in interivew .coz i got my case completion letter today .

@Rosepetal3333  the first option was ticked and they asked for some additional documents. which i uploaded on ceac. My cases is also still showing AP

Did your 221 G form have adminstrative processing tick marked as well? When was your interview date and what date did u submit the required document?

only the the first box and they wrote down the document that need to be submitted.

Does anybody know how long does it take to receive a 'welcome' letter? 

 

Its been two weeks since my arrival in USA, but I haven't received any form of documentation yet? Is there a forum or a way to check the status of social security, green card etc?

Yaaayyy we fnally received interview date today for October 15.

 

C"c was Sept 6 and Sept 21 interview date.  Can't believe it's so quick...just 3 weeks.  Booked my flight to be with my husband for interview.  It's been a long road after our k1 was denied in 2016. Please give prayer everything goes smoothly to approval Insha'Allah
