Assalam u alaikum everyone, I just came across this thread, some initial posts made me feel terrible knowing how badly one can get be treated having any red flags. 

I am far away ftom this stage but I was wondering if anyone who have in the past gone through this phase might give me an idea.

My husband's PD is oct 2017 for I-130. I am GC currently, will be completing my citizenship by this November InshaALLAH. As soon I get my citizenship, my I130 would still be pending at CSC. 

How much time it will take to upgrade my status to citizen with USCIS  and converting my husband's Pending I130 to Immediate Relative category and approving it at NVC?

Are there chances my citizenship will expedite our case? 

After NVC approves the case, how long/weeks it takes they send document package and after we submit, it gets approval?

 

I know it is a detailed question , but Any input from you all will lessen all the future confusions for us.

Does anyone know if Islamabad will take a scanned copy of the Affidavit of Support or does it need to be original?????

So guys only 1 day remaining of my interview at ISLAMABAD Embassy,prepared everything for interview original civil documents and copies of financial documents and some pics and video call screenshots.

The quick thing i need your opinion guys is our lawyer made two mistakes while filling Ds_260,first we missed to add the previous address of mine before marriage of my parents.

Secondly my younger son is not coming with me but my lawyer says YES to question (is this child immigrating with you).but he is not coming with me.

So i should explain to consular these things before interview?

will there be any impact on interview?

If you are talking about the i864 you uploaded ?

 

just print out the one you uploaded to ceac

I am not an expert on this situation but if it was me , I will them know right away in the interview

Ours is a K1 so it’s an I134 affidavit of support and we don’t have to scan to CEAC or at least this is my understanding inshaAllah it is correct 😅😅😅

You can get polio certificate at Jinnah hospital Lahore.Its free take your passport.

Hi All,

 

I submitted the document CO asked during the interview on CEAC. Will i get an email that they received the document? How will i know that they looked at the documents i uploaded?
