Can someone who recently had their interview share their experience? My husband's interview is coming up and Im completely freaked out. I read some other reviews of people getting harrased 😕

Are you also Pakistani?  Any red flags...that will help you get an idea on  how the interview might go.

Im a US citizen, but im a pakistani. I dont think there are any red flags in our case, since its our first marriage, but I have been reading forums where people get placed on AP for months. Im scared of that 😕

I think you'll be fine.  Just make sure your i864 shows above poverty level either for you or with a cosponsor.   

 

AP is one of those things that you can't stop, don't know if your getting it or how long you'll be there.  I wouldn't stress about something you can't control.  Inshallah it will all be ok.

Guys question, the letter you get for the interview from NVC/embassy, is it the same letter you have to take to the Medical Test in Islamabad and Interview? Or are there separate letters for interview and medical? 😕 And it is something you print yourself once received via email correct?

Interview letter would have been emailed from NVC.   The same letter you take to your medical you take to you interview.  You'll need when you go to purchase the token for the shuttle.  

 

And yes you print the letter (attachment) from the email you received.

Mine is October 23rd but I scheduled it myself so it's a little different then everyone who is waiting from NVC.   I have not noticed anyone on VJ mention an appointment in October as of yet nor are any timelines filled out with an October interview.

We signed up for the ustraveldocs website to print out the paper to take to Allied Bank to pay visa fee and it showed on the computer there was an appointment available for Sept 17. So hopefully there are some in October!!! We are a K1. I can’t uodate my timeline so I thought I would let you know I Case you are a CR1 or something

Good day to all.

My husband's immigration interview was on 12 sep 2018.

Interview went really good and at the end visa officer said your visa is approved and you will get passport in 1 or 2 weeks. After that we are continuously checking the visa page and it says Administrative Processing. I just want to know after how many days passport is received with stamped visa. Praying that we will get soon.

Anyone who has visa interview at Islamabad embassy around same days please also share your views and after how many days you have received your passport with stamped visa.

InshaAllah you will receive next week. Your interview was the 12th then it was Islamic New Year and they were closed Thursday and Friday. So inshaAllah one week and his passport with visa will be ready inshaAllah. 🙏🏽
