They don't schedule interview until they receive documents.

So if you have a interview letter then everything is good.

Hopefully everything is good.

i read that embassy gives dates to nvc so they schedule interview and then documents are sent to embassy, then embassy changes the status to ready.

i hope i get ready status soon.

In the last 3 years four members of our family  moved to US. We never got anything attested from ministry of foreign affairs.  I don't believe anywhere in instructions it mentions for documents to be attested from Ministry of Foreign affairs.

There is nothing wrong with getting documents attested from the ministry but I think that's just going way overboard.

Did they have to get their NICs translated to the new English ones? Or does it not make a difference if it's the Urdu one...I've heard that it does matter (just making sure)

Well, I sent in our papers to start over again on our visa. This time it will be an I-R1 since we will have been married 3 years this Oct. Strangely, my husband decided to have his interview (IF we get approved) at Islamabad again. He is living in Dubai for the next two years for his job, but all the lawyers he has talked to advise him to go back to Islamabad, even though I'm sure he has a target on his back since we filed a formal complaint against that embassy. However, I think he feels more comfortable interviewing there (even though they are horrible) because his lawyer can go with him, as can I. You have to wait outside at Dubai. He understands the language, although his English is excellent, and I think he just feels like he would know what to expect there (which is be treated like #######). We are at the point where we are just going forward and doing our best. We expect nothing, so we are not disappointed. We have accepted that we may never be able to live together in the USA, BUT we will NEVER GIVE UP! I'm not afraid of them and neither is he. We are over it! We have to accept what God wants for us. We know the truth, even if the embassy doesn't believe us. We just are trusting God to lead the way. We will fight to be together until our last breath. And, and our ages, that may not be that long....that's what is so sad. When we started this journey, I was 60. Now I'm 67 and he is 52. It's just a shame how people are treated are like criminals.

Ameen suma amen. I'm so upset since noticed, Co's giving very hard time to the applicants. . I hope visa get approved at the interview. I cant wait...

AOA,

Did you get your visa approved? I have a few questions for the interview

How was your experience at the embassy?

Did they give you any documentation after the interview to followup with the courier services?

Is there anyway to track the visa delivery?

Did your status change on ceac website? If yes, how long did it take?

Thank you.

AOA,

Does anybody know that process after the visa is approved?

Does the ISL embassy give you any documents or a way to track your passport/visa?

How long does it take for status to changed to "approved" on CEAC?

My wife's visa was approved last night Alhamdolilah, but the system still shows "Your case is currently At: Islamabad" and she wasn't given any documentation stating the visa is approved or a way to track the passport/visa.

Thank you for all the help.
