The mysterious appointment letter.

Hi all,

 

Can someone please enlighten me as to this mysterious letter.  

 

I have booked my appointment and received and email showing the date and time of my appointment.

 

And I have printed out a copy of my DS-160  and paid the fees etc

 

But on the check lists it states that you will need to present the appointment letter, DS-160 and passport.

 

As I booked the interview myself online do I just print out the email that shows the date time and my passport number and case number and use this as the appointment letter?

Yes

 

Before you booked the interview yourself London used to send a letter with your appointment details. It changed a couple of years ago

You'll be about 100 miles from us,  we're just outside Asheville. Beautiful part of the country
