Hi everyone,

I hope you would have the time to review my question. I'm a LPR who applied for my wife (currently residing in the Philippines) through a Lawyer back in January of 2017. Unfortunately, the lawyer didn't tell us about any evidence of Bona Fide relationship, other than joint bank account, etc. which were not possible for me to obtain due to not living with my wife (I also can't open a bank account for someone without them being present). However, I have a lot of other proofs such as our wedding photos, our pictures taken together, gifts, hotel reservations, trips, etc. and none of these were supplied with the I-130 application. Considering that we essentially didn't provide any Proof of Bona fide relationship with the application, and our different backgrounds (she is Filipina and I'm Persian) this has caused a lot of worry for us, especially after the recent news about the USCIS new memo to reject applications without the need to request for RFE. I trusted this lawyer, and his firm is one of the most reputable ones in Texas, but considering this situation I don't know what recourse I have. Could you please give me some insight? Can I send these additional documents now? We have waited for so long, I can't fathom the possibility of being rejected without even a chance to provide the evidence.

Thank you
