Is it ok if the foreign fiance takes the photo in his/her country at a professional studio, send it to the US fiance in an e-mail and let him print it back at a professional studio?  Or it must be sent directly from the beneficiary's country to the US via physical mail? (for I-129F)

Yes you can do it that way. Just make sure it's the right size. Foreign countries sometimes use different sizes. You will probably mail other documents at some point if so just send them all.

Good luck.

Ya, I guess so, I just remembered they require a cover letter stating the petitioner's and the beneficiary's intent to marry within 90 days of entering the US. Other than the passport-type photo and the cover letter, is there anything else that I should send?

Are you using the guide?  It’s all in there.
