Hello, so I filed the I130 back in March for my husband. My noa1 date is 03/26/18. I'm expecting to receive Noa2 around September assuming no RFE.

Me and the hubby want to meet up one last time before his interview (I'll be heading to cambodia to attend the interview with him as well). We're not sure when to expect his interview. Will it be this year or next? How long will the process take from NOA2 to interview?

So basically we want to go on vacation in November around thanksgiving to meet up in Thailand. That's the only time I can get off work or else it would be earlier. Last time we saw each other was Early march when we got married and we miss each other a lot ;( Do you guys think that is a good idea? Or is it cutting too close to when the interview will be? (Even though I have no idea when to even expect that)

If you can afford the trip then do it. The more face time is always better.

agree and don't expect an interview till 2019/ taking 12 to 14 months now for the process

hopefully i am wrong (and could be) but from posts i am reading last 6 months the timeframe i mention is correct

if you were at the NVC stage I would say different /there is quite a bit to do for  NVC

paying the 2 fees

filling out the 2 documents

providing the proofs of income]

providing the criminal report(s)

it is another hurry up and wait stage

enjoy the trip and best to u
