Derek and I have been looking for a cat for the past few weeks and finally found one. A little younger (10-11 weeks) than we originally planned, but how can you not fall in love with this face? And in a nice bit of kitty karma, he was born right around the same time we had to put Jenny to sleep.

Yummy! I eat kitten for breakfast!

what  ..i really do not think you are joking

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Thanks all for recognizing just who has the cutest kitten at the moment.

Honestly I think babies are cute so that we don't kill them after getting absolutely no sleep for days on end.

And ItsMe and Broma, at least I know what he will look like in a year or so. Our vet says he is going to be a big boy - probably over 15 pounds, yikes!

Yay! KJ, I realize what a big step this was for you. Congrats on the new kitty....soooooooooooo adorable!

And Jenny is happy for you, cos she doesn't want to see you be upset

TY, Lisa! Yeah, when I learned that Calvin had been born right around the time that Jenny died, I got the feeling that it was all meant to be.

Aw - he is adorable! I love them at that age . . . heck, I love 'em at any age! And Innova Evo is really good food - much more in keeping with a cats natural diet. Enjoy your new baby! (As if there is any doubt).

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Great lookin kitten, sort of resembles my Kipper. Kipper goes in for the snip snip on May 31!!! Vet is pretty close to the old barton house, lol

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1
