Hi my mom applied for CRBA since we found her American dad after 48 years. They didnt had any communication ever since and first time to see each other late last year.

Then we called the US embassy in Manila to apply for CRBA, interview was done and DNA, it did match.  Then we received an email from embassy letting my mom sign a paper saying that she was not given SS Number, and her passport was approved. She was informed that passport will be delivered last week by the courier, but 2 weeks had past it did not arrived. I just wanna know if i can email the US embassy manila to ask for a tracking number of mail? Is it possible? Thank you

You can't apply or get a CRBA for someone over age 18, so I think you mean you applied for and got a US passport.

I can promise you its the lack of CRBA and SSN that is causing the delay, I was in a similar situation it took two months before the passport was mailed out when I was originally told ten days. I emailed USCS and they said there were processing delays for the application.

Thank you for sharing. Yes my mom did applied for US Passport, she did sign the paper stating that she was never issued a SSN. It will be on the 3rd week this coming week, we still didnt receive her passport. We are planning to email again the USCS net week for updates. I think it's ok to ask them right?

Was your application in Manila Embassy?

Yea its perfectly ok to go ahead and email and ask, I assume the delay when you apply without a SSN is because of some kind of checks they are doing above and beyond the average.

No it was not in Manilla.
