NVC to consulate timeline - K1

So we were quite excited when we file was in transit to Johannesburg consulate on June 26th .. 20 days later it still shows in transit .. emailed consulate ... response was a generic “ We will contact the beneficiary when we are ready to process” .. most of the timelines here show the consulate receiving it in 3-5 days ... anyone else waiting for a response .. any insight is appreciated.. thank you

We are close to this as well, I keep reading about getting a head start on getting and filing out the information for the packet I will receive from the consulate, in the guide it says there's examples in the forums but all the searches I turn in come up blank 0 results.
