Hello, my wife/fiance received her 2 year green card from a k1 visa in April of 2017, problem is they had my last name on the green card when her marriage certificate and country passport etc was all in her family last name. So we sent an I-90 cause it would be too much of a hassle to change passport and stuff to my last name. Long story short, they received her i90 to change last name June 2017 and it is now coming on August 2018 and still USCIS is saying it is under consideration, I reached out to my congressman and they said they are doing background checks on my wife’s case and will be making a decision afterwards, no word how long th BAckground check will take. either way it has been over a year, we got the temp stamp at the local office, anyone else in same boat, what can I do?
