I130 petition required documents

HI, 

I am filling for my wife I-130 Petition, could you please tell me what is the required documents.?

Nitas-man, i just want to know if i need birth certificate for me and my wife. I was told by a friend to send them but is not stated in I 130 instructions.

USCIS PHASE

 

Completed form i130

Completed form i130a

Copy of marriage certificate 

Copy of divorce certificate of you both(if applicable)

Filing fee of $535

Copies of flight iteneries,passport stamp

Beneficiary's birth cert.

2×2 passport photos of you both 

Proof of us status or copy of GC 

Proof of bonafide marriage like wedding pictures etc

Sworn affidavits of bonafide marriage from third parties 

Change of name/newspaper publication(if you have)

And other supporting documents that you have.

 

All documents to be submitted are copies while the beneficiary takes all originals to her interview

The beneficiary's birth certificate is not required to file an I-130; the poster who posted that was incorrect.

Further, what is required depends on the individual circumstances.  Match your circumstances to the instructions for the I-130.  Somebody else's list might not be applicable to YOUR case.
