Did you get your ead ap?

I haven't yet, so I may go and apply to get it expedited. The VJ timeline still says I should get my EAD before my start date, but I'm nervous as it just got pushed back by almost a full month! My new job starts (if all goes well) on August 5th, and the estimate here is that I'll get my card between June 25th and July 25th, which is cutting it very close!

 

I will once I move - we are planning to move out there at the end of July,  so there is still some time yet. :)

Joining this thread as I'm a local AOS filers, still waiting for our interview and EAD/AP card. Status on egov is still "Fingerprint was received" for I-485 and "Case was received" for EAD/AP 😵

11/10/2019    APPROVED (notification rec'd 11/10, approval dated 11/8)

DONE FOR TWO YEARS!!! ;)

 

Filed everything ourselves with no RFE's or delays.

 

CR1 for Child under 21 (20 at time of filing)- Filed by LPR Spouse for his son

4/4/20     Mailed packet

4/12/20   NOA1 rec'd

10/14/21 (havent heard anything... when do i start to get worried?)

9/15/22 APPROVED! Now to wait for NVC and interview....

10/14/21 Mailed to AZ PO Box. Let the waiting begin. Again.

10/16/21 Received at PO Box

10/19/21 Received Text NOA1

Has anyone in the area had any luck getting an EAD expedite? I got some seriously bad/unhelpful advice from our congresswoman, so I was wondering if anyone had any luck speaking to anyone else about it. Thanks! Sorry to harp about it on a bunch of threads!

01/08/2018: Priority Date

01/19/2018: Checks cashed

01/22/2018: 3 NOA's received in Mail (I-130, I-485 and I-765)

02/09/201: Received Biometrics Appointment Letter scheduled for 02/22

02/10/2018: Email notification of RFIE :(

02/12/2018: Early walk-in for Biometrics, successful

02/16/2018: RFIE received for birth certificate and translation, sent back the same day

02/20/2018: RFIE response delivered, sent via Fedex

02/23/2018: Case status updated to RFIE response received

03/05/2018: Courtesy letter for I-693, medical exam received, letter dated Feb 28th

03/08/2018: AP application delivered by Fedex

03/19/2018: NOA for AP received in the mailbox

05/03/2018: AP ONLY approved (Approved in 56 days)

05/11/2018: AP received in Mail

05/21/2018: Email received,EAD card in production (Day 133)

05/22/2018: Interview scheduled

05/25/2018: EAD approval letter received in Mail

05/29/2018: EAD card and letter for interview (Jun.26th) both received in Mail, Woot woot :)

06/26/2018: Interview completed, now waiting for the magical email/letter...

10/30/2018: Went to Infopass, officer has not made a decision yet, an email was sent to him tell him I came to inquire

03/26/2019: Moved so updated our address online with USCIS

04/16/2019: I-130 petition approved

04/20/2019: approval notice received in the mail

04/22/2019: received notification of RFE for AOS I-485

06/01/2019: RFE finally received after being lost in the mail, asking for a new medical exam

06/06/2019: Response to RFE sent, received the next day 06/07/2019

06/17/2019: Received notification of another RFE, 3rd time will be the charm hopefully

06/22/2019: RFE received for new medical

07/02/2019: Went to doctor for new medical

07/11/2019: I-485 approved without new medical exam

07/18/2019: Green Card received in mail

Thanks for the link - I'm on the thread. :) Unfortunately, I put in a request and haven't got any follow-up from USCIS so I was wondering if anyone got any assistance from their local representatives.

Hi! Could you elaborate a bit on what unhelpful advice you got from the congresswoman?

ours went smoothly. 

 

what were you told?

i 485, 130, EAD and AP

Hey - sorry, have been travelling. Our congresswoman's office told us that they could not not communicate with USCIS until 60+ days after we put in our expedite request. They also said that they were not able to file a request on my behalf under any circumstances, and that i should just go to my local office and speak to an officer there. The lady also said that i could just work as the spouse of a US citizen - I guess work is forgiven, but I have no desire to break the law, and I work at a state university that uses e-verify.

It all worked out though, because we got the card in the mail today (no help from our congresswoman)! :)
