Thanks! I haven’t been able to track my Form I-485 application to adjust status since March 28th 2018. It went from the notorious “user-defined error” glitch to “my case status doesn’t recognize the case number “ now and this’s how it’s been since April 7th. Despite all the numerous calls I’ce made, USCIS hasn’t been able to fix this and each time I speak with them they just reply me with the “nothing’s wrong with your case” response, it’s still pending, within normal processing time and I just have to keep on waiting

Hey everyone - we just had our interview and it went really well.  The appointment was scheduled for 9:30 and we walked in around 9:15.  We left our cell phones in the car so I'm not sure what time they called us back for the interview but we got out of there at 10:15.  The lady doing our interview was Officer Nichols.  She was serious but nice.  Once we got inside her office she swore us in and then asked Lotfi all the questions on the I-485 form.  Once that was finished, she asked what other countries he's visited, how and when we met, if we know each other's families, how my family felt about him, where we got engaged, who proposed, when did we realize we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together, etc.  Basically, if your relationship is real then you don't need to worry about any of the questions!

We took with us A LOT of documents/evidence - better too have too much and not need it than need something and not have it!!

We brought all originals and copies of:

everything we received from the government

his EAD/AP combo card

both our social security cards

both our birth certificates (his with certified translation)

both driver's licenses

his insurance cards (he's on my insurance through work)

his medical bills

home/auto insurance with both our names

utility bills with both our names

marriage certificate

photo album which included his arrival to US, holidays and trips together, our legal wedding and our family/friends wedding and reception, photos with my family, ultrasound photos

anything and everything else... we literally had one of those accordion expandable folders, a plastic zipper file folder, and a huge photo album LOL

She kept copies of the items listed above and she even kept a few of our wedding/reception pictures.  At the end she said she needs to review all these documents and then she gave us a paper that said we are recommended for approval and that we will receive an official notice in the mail.

All in all it was a pleasant experience.  Good luck to all of you!!
