My fiance and I got our passport style pictures taken the other day. Mine in North Carolina, His in Casablanca. Mine has a receipt and date of when it was done. He sent me his via email and I printed it out and the place I printed it out had date and receipt. The place he had it done gave him no receipt that he took his picture or it being done on that date. My fiance told me that they don't give receipts. My question to you all: the instructions has take a passport style pictures within 30 days of mailing the I-129F form. How do I prove he just took his picture and would they be ok with my printed receipt for where I printed it out?

They don't ask for a receipt of when the photo was taken.

We've recycled old photos.  Doesn't make a difference.  They need to be recent photos and meet all of the rules.

Exactly, the 30day requirement simply means that the photos have to be current/up to date i.e. a person should look like they look now.

They don’t need or ask for a receipt.

If your individual passport photo looked insanely different than your actual passport photo, then they know something is wrong

This is one of the things where they will take you at your word.

I'm in no way suggesting to re-use old photos, though. The requirement says taken within 30 days of filing so I suggest doing exactly that.
