Thank God this day is over!!!! My day off.....has been spent running here and there, doctors, job interviews, etc. Khallids job sucks major ding dong and the job search hasn't been too eventful. :( He's beginning to feel that some places are discriminating. For example today, he applied for a job, they seemed very interested and when they asked where he is from, he said the tone of their voice changed and they gave him the "we will call you later" speel. It's starting to get to him a bit now. In Egypt he had a very high paying job and was in high demand at many schools. Here they don't want anything to do with him in the school district and feels he's a nobody. :( We're hoping some of the interviews he had today will be successful.

Awwww. Kittens are so cute! Doodle if you're out there I have another anecdote for you. I asked Moh over the phone what it was exactly that he found was wrong with the vacuum. There was a pause. Now I have learned that this pause usually speaks volumes. Finally he said "Well, it had a lot of those plastic Walmart bags in it." .....................!!!......................... (I had taken the thing apart myself and found NOTHING so where they were crammed is beyond me and how they got there.... sdkjfa;sdkfj;asdkjf) I said, "Uh. Ok. Mohammed?" ... and he promptly changed the subject. lol

:lol::thumbs:

What is it with Arab men and vacuums?? :unsure:

Oh lordy lordy lordy, if Moh saw you refer to him (indirectly, of course) as an Arab he would blow a hemi! Ha ha... Do you have a vacuum story too?

Just the one I wrote about last month where Omar fixed the belt by sewing it back together. Nothing like your bags caught up inside!
